Acclaimed flutist Lisa Hansen has appeared at major concert halls throughout the US, Latin America and Europe. The New York Times has described her playing as “irresistibly lyrical,” while Fanfare wrote “One might well prefer Hansen to Galway.” As an author, she has published nonfiction pieces in magazine and scholarly journals on topics ranging from music to law. She has recently completed her debut novel Only the Moon Can Say.
Only The Moon Can Say features sizzling legal twists and turns as 12-year-old Wyn, a feisty heroine with a born flair for debate, defends a stray dog that has been wrongly charged with attacking a small child. What kid can resist the story of a girl who battles adults in court to save a dog’s life! Only The Moon Can Say is the first book in a middle-grade series of Law Girl novels that will engage kids with captivating legal plots. A former attorney at a top New York law firm, Lisa Hansen is thrilled to launch the Law Girl series.
